Ok, so how much does a stripe jersey tee really cost? Probably not that much if it’s a basic buy. But the reason I say invest, is because these are the timeless staple pieces that are in your wardrobe to stay.
The indigo denim.
It doesn’t have to be this particular one, but just a good dark blue jean that fits you perfectly, and makes you feel good about your legs and bum. For me, it’s the holding power Joni Jeans from Topshop. My problem area is my tummy, and these are super high waisted and everything just stays in place.
White leather Cons.
Again, leather not essential but since it’s very rare that I have a casual casual day, the leather makes me feel as though they’re not quite as cas. A good, comfortable white plimsoll will be your saviour on crazy busy days, rainy days, and “I dont feel like getting dressed, but I have to” days.
The Leather Jacket.
Be honest, which other jacket are you gonna wear the whole year round? You won’t get away with that Zara wool coat in summer, as much as you’d love to. It’s your everyday best friend that’s always there for you, at festivals, on dates, on nights out, at brunch… you get the picture.
Nude Court Shoes.
Swap the cons for courts and you’re ready for the night. Not only that, a nude court will go with absolutely anything… Yellow, Pink, Green, Tan, anything! Spend time searching for the perfect pair, they’re not the most comfortable choice at the best of times so if you have wide feet, buy for wide feet etc.
The when everything else fails timeless classic, also known as the black dress. Another piece to spend time shopping for, so that you get the perfect fit. Work out cuts that best fit your body shape such as shift, skater, bodycon etc. Also, try not to be tempted by updated versions such as emebellished necks or cut out waists. Plain is gain!
